Summary:
In this story Kind Arthur goes out on a ride with his wizard friend Merlin. While they are out they come across a man who was the black knight. The Black Knight said that they must fight or turn around. The king decided to fight the black knight. The black knight broke the kings sword, right as the black knight was going to hit the king Merlin knocked out the black knight. The king and Arthur rode away. Later, Merlin gave the king a better sword from a mysterious lady of the lake. The king went back to fight the black knight and the king defeated him. The king took off his helmet and the black knight saw that it was the king. The black knight from then on dedicated his life to the king.
My reaction:
I thought that it was a cute book for children to read. It was easy to understand and it was simple enough for a child to be able to read while getting a fun plot.
Who would benefit from this book?
Children who are learning to read and learning to be able to grasp more complicated ideas in books.
What problems might this book cause?
None.
