Summary:
In the story of a Wrinkle in Time, Meg's father gets captured by a brain called "It". The children try to go rescue their father on a different planet that is in a different dimension. The children use a tesseract to transport themselves through the universe to find their father. The brain called "IT" is holding their father captive because he won't conform to the brain's way of thinking. The main character Meg has to go to another planet to persuade to let her father and her brothers are now being captive. Meg was able to get her family free through the use of love. That concept of love is something that the brain "IT" cannot understand.
My reaction:
I enjoyed the book but it as really weird. It was an interesting turn. It was enjoyable because it was basically about the battle between good and evil. It was still good though also because of the unique plot.
Who might benefit from this book?
I think anyone who likes to look into in-depth messages about love and the battles of good vs. evil. It should be a reader that is able to grasp the different concepts throughout the book.
What problems might this book?
Maybe that children might believe in different creatures that could capture people and try to convince them to their evil ways of thinking.
